A Cross Country and Track & Field Meeting will be held in rooms E-102/103 on Thursday, June 5th at 7:00pm.  Parents and athletes are both encouraged to attend, including all incoming 9th graders and returning track and cross country athletes.

From conversations with the Orange County Fire Authority, it does not look like the Santiago fire will be contained until Thursday or Friday of this week.  Irvine Regional Park is used as the staging area (for tents for the firemen, equipment, etc.) and it takes a day to clear out after the fire is contained.  Therefore, the Sea View League Finals meet will be moved to Woodbridge High School.

** UPDATED Thu, Oct 25th 4:55pm **  Woodbridge Cross Country attendance at the Apache (Arcadia) Invitational, re-scheduled for Friday, HAS BEEN CANCELLED.  Orange County Department of Education and IUSD superintendents have cancelled all school activities for students, including athletics in or out of the County, through the weekend.

The Apache Cross Country Invitational (Arcadia), originally scheduled for Thursday, has been postponed until Friday.

** UPDATED Thu, Oct 25th 4:00pm **  Given the decision by IUSD to cancel school activities including athletics through the weekend, please check back frequently through 11:00am Friday for updates on the status of attending the Apache Invitational meet.

The Jaguar Invitational in Escondido turned out to be a pretty nice meet for us to attend.

We enjoyed a mixed day of results, unusual cross country setting (shortened course), and lots of fun times and good food at the Orange County Championships on Saturday.

We achieved mixed results last Thursday at the League Cluster Meet on the varsity levels and some very impressive performances at the lower level races.  We had a great week of training and made lots of progress in our practices.  The progress from these workouts will show up in our future meets.
