Woodbridge girls top University in PCL volleyballBy TIM BURT

Woodbridge’s girls volleyball team avenged a first-round loss to University,
sweeping the Trojans in three games Thursday evening at Woodbridge.

The Warriors (2-5, 6-18) won the match 25-10, 25-13, 25-14 to stay in the playoff
hunt. “We passed well and we served well and we controlled everything right to the
net,” Woodbridge Coach Alan Ho said. “We seemed to find the recipe for suc-
cess. When we don’t give up free points, we can do well. We need to keep perform-
ing like this at a high level.” The Warriors got a strong perform-
ance from Eden Frazier, who had 13 kills. Lauren Werderman had 11 kills for the
Warriors and Carly Evers had 13 digs. Nicole Carter led Uni (2-5) in league.

“Credit goes to Woodbridge for their solid play tonight,” University Coach
Dawn Rentrop said. “They hit well and took us out of our game. Iris Hou has
stepped up recently in practices and games. Nicole Carter had a good match
leading our team.”

Welcome to our Warriors Girls Volleyball website.

VolleyballThe website is intended to provide the help and information our athletes and parents will need throughout the season.  We think it is functional, easy to use, and contains practically everything anyone will need to enjoy and be informed about the program.

1)  The website includes News, Schedules, Rosters, Announcements, and Photos.
 
2)  In order to protect the privacy of our athletes, you will now need to Login to view the photos, videos, and athlete profiles of the website.  This will require you to register for a new login account, even if you previously registered on our first website because we are using a different technology than before.  It is easy to set up.  Simply go to theUser Login section below the left-side menus to "Create new account" and follow the instructions.  Once we validate your identity, you will be notified that you are activated and you can Login.  Note that only students/athletes, parents, coaches, and school administrators are eligible for a login account. 
  
3)  We plan to expand all features, especially photos, as we now have our own in-house Photos Gallery technology which allows us to maintain all digital images of our athletes in a secured environment.  All registered users that are logged in are allowed access to all photos, videos, and athlete profiles that we have stored on our website.
