Jim Fifer will serve as our hitting coach, assist with the infielders, and work with our catchers. Assistant Coach Fifer graduated from Long Beach Wilson in 1987. He attended LBCC, earning All-South Coast Conference honors as a third baseman. He then went to Cal Lutheran University where he earned All-West Region honors as a utility player, leading the Kingsmen to a National final runner-up.

Coach Fifer’s coaching career began at Wilson as the Freshman Head Coach before he joined Cal Lutheran for two years. After helping Coach Murray for one season on the JV level at El Dorado, Coach Fifer returned to the Long Beach area as an assistant coach at Long Beach Millikan where he remained for 5 years before returning to El Dorado for the 2007 season. He and his wife Angie have one son, BJ, and they live in Lakewood.
