Hello Varsity and Jr. Varsity Families...the WHS Classic Tournament is upon us and that means snack bar time!!

Those of you who have been a part of the WHS Softball program in the past know that the WHS Softball Classic Tournament is our largest fundraiser for the program with proceeds benefiting the whole program.  Those of you new to the program are in for a great treat!   WHS takes a lot of pride in this respected tournament and it's our goal is to make it better each year.  It is quite an undertaking and requires the involvement of every WHS Softball family.  Our last snack bar in February was successful with 96% of our parents working their assigned shifts.  I thank you once again and must stress the importance of this again.  We need 100% participation.   It is only through your great help that we can make this happen for our girls.

The tournament is planned for Saturday April 5th, Monday April 7, and concludes on Saturday April 12th.  Both Saturdays generally require snack bar workers from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm.  Monday is typically a shorter day with the snack bar hours of 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.  There is always lots to do whether its shopping, banking, set up, tear down, cooking, grilling or selling...we need everyone to be available for several hours to make this a success.

Coach Dugard will be providing me with game times which will allow me to create the snack bar working schedule.  If anyone has a known conflict on these days, please email me ASAP as I will try to schedule you accordingly. (I have already received requests from a few of you – thanks!)

More specific information will be forthcoming but I wanted to get this out to all of you ASAP so you can mark your calendars.  Additionally, please see the list (below) for equipment we'll need for the snack bar.  If you have any of these items to lend for the tourney, please let me know via email.
