Warriors Junior Varsity Tennis Team has shown dominance and perseverence in compiling an 8-2 record in the first month of the 2008 season. (See Schedule for all scores.) At home against Mater Dei on March 11, they were down by 6 games at the half, and rallied to win, 9-7. The next day at Irvine, our Warriors were down 3-5 at the half, but won 6 of 8 to win the match, 9-7.

Warriors won three of the following four matches by wide margins, losing only to Corona Del Mar--always a strong opponent--10-8.

Next matches: Tuesday at home in a Sea View League match against Northwood and Wednesday at Newport Harbor.

Varsity plays Tuesday at Northwood, at home Wednesday against Newport Harbor, and at home Thursday against Horace Mann School (NY), a pre-season match for them on their Spring Break.
