IWN: Softball team suffers league loss in opener

Woodbridge 1, Foothill 12: Woodbridge suffered a loss in their Sea View League softball opener on Tuesday. Woodbridge lost to Foothill, 12-1, at Deanna Manning Stadium.
Foothill broke the game open with five runs in the second inning. Woodbridge's only run came in the fourth inning.
"We make one mistake and then everyone lives off that mistake instead of stopping the bleeding, they bleed more," Coach Alan Dugard said. "We have a ways to go and it's all in their heads. They have the talent, they just don't believe in themselves yet."
