Woodbridge 0, Santa Margarita 13:  The Woodbridge High softball team ran into an explosive Santa Margarita offensive attack and fell to the Eagles, 13-0, Saturday morning in a consolation round game of the 26th annual Woodbridge/Victory Classic at Bill Barber Park.

Hilary Dorman, who reached first on a passed ball in the third inning after striking out, was the only Woodbridge batter to reach base.

The umpires stopped the game after the fourth inning due to the mercy rule.  "Obviously we don't have a lot of experience in pitching, and we're going to be experimenting the rest of the season," Woodbridge coach Alan Dugard said.  "Santa Margarita is the best team we've played all year.  We'll keep fighting and plugging away."

Heather Gorey came on in relief of Kaitlyn Friday in the second inning and recorded firve strikeouts.
