Boys Volleyball beats Peninsula in CIF 2nd round match

Woodbridge 3, Peninsula 0: The #4-ranked Warriors beat Peninsula Tuesday night on their home court, 25-22, 25-14, 25-13, to take the second round match in the CIF-SS Division I Playoffs. Ryan Gonzales had six kills, six digs and two aces in the Warriors victory over the Panthers. Read the Irvine World News article by Tim Burt.
Next up: Woodbridge hosts #2-ranked Santa Margarita in the CIF quarterfinals on Friday at 7:00pm in the WHS Gym. This should be a great rematch of the teams that competed at the UCI Bren Center two weeks ago. Plan to come and support your Warriors.
