Feel that Warrior Pride

As the 2008-09 school year enters the 'final quarter' the WHS campus is undergoing some significant changes.  Senior lot…make way for the new WHS aquatic complex!  Jock lot… taken over by 'temp housing' for Modernization and you go away for Spring Break .. and it is back again!  Parking on campus becomes a 'hot commodity'!  High school campuses are a dynamic place and WHS is entering an exciting phase.  The WHS campus and Way of the Warrior will truly be a showcase for the students that call Woodbridge H.S. their home!

The Woodbridge Warrior Booster Club has been a strong partner with the student-athletes, coaches and Administrators in this journey.  Monies generated through membership fees, fundraising efforts and the WHS community's support of our Southern California Half Marathon has taken Warrior athletic programs to the next level!  Our Executive Board is entering a transition period with several of us 'terming out' of our current positions.  The SCHM had its most successful (and profitable) event this past January and we hope to see the 'momentum continue' for future student-athletes at WHS!  We ask that you get involved…support your student any way you can while they are in high school.  Network with your friends and neighbors, our Booster Organization meets every 2nd Tuesday of the Month and we encourage you to take an 'active role' in your son's or daughter's participation in high school athletics.  Considering the State?s economic challenges, funding for extra curricular activities is becoming increasingly more difficult … the Warrior Booster Club's role has never been more important … but it doesn't flourish without YOU!  Student / Parent Night for the Class of 2013 is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, 2009 and offers a wonderful opportunity for all of us to showcase what is referred to as “WOW”!

Finally, congratulations to the Lady Warriors Basketball squad for capturing the CIF-SS Division III-AA Title.  The Lady Warriors also enjoyed a great run in the State Division III playoffs and provided basketball fans with lasting memories of a truly outstanding season.  We've reminded the Athletic Directors it is time to 'hoist' another championship banner in the Warrior Dome!
