The Lady Warriors basketball team played well throughout the Arroyo Tournament to make it to the finals on Saturday night.  After falling behind in the first half against the Northwood Timberwolves (11-3), the Warriors (11-2) rallied in the fourth quarter only to fall short, losing 42-38 in the Championship Game.  Ashley Ward finished with 19 points; Sara McCutchan had 8 pts.

In earlier games of the Arroyo Tournament, the Lady Warriors were successful throughout:

• 1st Round:  Warriors 58, Schurr 49 -- Breanna Todd 13 pts, Kaitlyn Friday 11 pts.
    
• Quarterfinals:  Warriors 56, Simi Valley 23 -- Julie Walton 11 pts, Sara McCutchan 9 pts.
    
• Semifinals:  Warriors 64, Chavez/Delano 34 -- Julie Walton 14 pts, Sara McCutchan 11 pts, Ashley Ward 10 pts.
